RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Contract)
Location: California 95240
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (05/26/2026 – 08/24/2026)
Pay: $2,605 – $2,917/week

Schedule:

• Night Shift (12-hour shifts)

• 36–48 hours per week

• Weekend rotation required (every other or every 3rd weekend; Fri/Sat nights)

• No call required

• Occasional floating as needed

Position Summary & Responsibilities (Concise)

• Deliver coordinated L&D and postpartum (couplet care) nursing care

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Rotate through LDRP unit (mothers & newborns)

• Support deliveries; assist with neonatal stabilization when needed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and educate patients/families

• Delegate tasks and supervise support staff

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• BSN: Preferred

• Acute care experience: Preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN License (state of practice): Required

• BLS/CPR (approved provider): Required

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required

Additional Notes

• RNs perform postpartum and couplet care

• NICU/Nursery RNs attend deliveries when needed

• Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
