Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery - FS
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Duration: 13 weeks (07/20/2026 – 10/17/2026)
Shift/Schedule: Nights, 5x8s (40 hours/week)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients in a hospital setting.
  • Assess, monitor, and care for assigned patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
  • Document patient responses, treatments, and changes in physician orders.
  • Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
  • Monitor physiological status and intervene as necessary.
  • Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products.
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and make appropriate referrals.
  • Delegate tasks to support staff while ensuring quality patient care.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact (eNLC) RN License.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience in a Level I Trauma facility.
  • Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS (AHA) certification.
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
  • NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing practices, procedures, and techniques.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.

Preferences:

  • BSN or MSN from an accredited nursing program.
  • Ability to coordinate and evaluate nursing services.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to diverse patient populations and cultural needs.
