Hourly Pay Rate: $54.31

Overview:
As an RN in Labor and Delivery, you will act as a clinical leader, utilizing the nursing process to deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care. You will evaluate patient needs, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to positive maternal and neonatal outcomes while fostering patient trust and satisfaction.
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in obstetric or maternal health nursing
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and CPI certifications from the American Heart Association or equivalent
- Proficiency with computers, healthcare software, and documentation systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to effectively delegate and lead team members
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area related to labor and delivery
- Additional training or experience in high-risk obstetrics, fetal monitoring, or neonatal care
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- 2+ years of clinical experience in labor and delivery or obstetrics
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work the 12:00 AM 12:00 AM shift
- Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to handle exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies
