RN - Juvenile Justice Center Hours

• 5x8 hour shifts per week - includes every other weekend
• Shift rotates from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Day shift) to 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Evening shift)

RN - Juvenile Justice Center Compensation

• The pay for this position is $45.00-47.00 per hour paid weekly
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees.

RN - Juvenile Justice Center Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adolescent residents within a secure juvenile correctional and rehabilitation environment
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and intake evaluations upon admission
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions
• Respond to medical emergencies, injuries, behavioral crises, and urgent healthcare needs
• Monitor and manage chronic medical conditions, including asthma, diabetes, mental health-related concerns, and other ongoing health issues
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, counselors, and security staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
• Provide health education and wellness counseling to youth residents, including hygiene, medication compliance, nutrition, and preventive care
• Assist with infection control procedures and ensure compliance with healthcare and safety standards
• Perform routine nursing procedures including wound care, vital signs, specimen collection, and immunizations
