Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Location: Vallejo, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay: $65- $75/hr. 
Shift: Days/Nights | 3x12 | 36 Hours/Week


Job Summary:
Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess, monitor, and care for critically ill ICU patients.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and other life-support equipment.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge planning.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices.

Requirements:
1+ year of recent full-time ICU experience (within the last 3 years).
Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current AHA BLS certification.
Current AHA ACLS certification.

Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
2+ years of recent ICU experience.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.
CCRN Certification.
Experience with Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent renal replacement therapies.
