Alto Health Care Staffing is seeking skilled nurses to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in beautiful Warsaw, WI. Enjoy the charm of a close-knit community while working in a state-of-the-art facility. General Job Duties and Responsibilities Provide day-to-day nursing care, including trach vent patients and comprehensive assessments. Work in a 20-bed medical surgical critical care step-down unit with RN ratios of 3-4 patients per nurse during day and evening shifts, and 4 patients per nurse on night shifts. Care for patients with a variety of medical/surgical diagnoses, following provider orders, documenting assessments and care plans. Utilize critical thinking and delegate tasks to nursing assistants as appropriate. Communicate effectively with the care team, including social workers, providers, charge nurses, CNAs, unit clerks, and other nursing staff. Equipment Utilized EPIC computer charting Pyxis for medication dispensing Rover Med Scanners Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 2 years experience in telemetry nursing Licensures and Certifications Wisconsin or Compact State RN license BLS and ACLS certifications Shift and Schedule 36 hours per week Required to work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Floating to Other Units/Departments May float to acute care areas within scope Unit Details 20-bed unit Nurse to patient ratio: 4:1 on night shift Dress Code Any color of professional scrubs is permitted. Training and Orientation Our comprehensive orientation program includes normal HR and EPIC training, followed by two 12-hour shifts of on-floor orientation to ensure you feel confident and prepared.
