Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in accordance with accepted nursing standards and state Board of Nursing regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Evaluate patient health through ongoing assessment and data collection.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients.
- Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment.
- Execute delegated medical functions.
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment when needed.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize available resources effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs.
- Participate in on-call coverage during regularly scheduled shifts, as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- BLS (American Heart Association).
- ACLS.
- NIH.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- TNCC certification.
