Shift: Night Shift (Auto Offer, Epic Backfill)
Epic Requirement: EXCLUSIVE Epic Assignment – Epic EMR experience required
Pay Rate: $58 – $60/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay:$2,320 – $2,400/week (40 hrs)

Job Summary

RN II – Pediatric Acute Care provides comprehensive nursing care for pediatric patients ranging from newborn to 18 years old. Responsibilities include medication administration, IV therapy, respiratory support, care planning, family education, and coordination of multidisciplinary care. The RN will also float to NICU as needed and support developmentally appropriate pediatric care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience (Required)

• Experience with acutely ill pediatric patients (Required)

• Ability to care for newborns through adolescent populations

• Experience with ventilatory support devices (oxygen, suctioning, nebulizers)

• Strong pediatric emergency response skills

• Ability to float to NICU if needed

• Strong documentation and care planning skills

Required Credentials

• Active California RN License

• BLS Certification (Required)

• PALS Certification (Required)

• NRP Certification (Required)

Preferred Credentials

• Pediatric step-down or NICU exposure

• Experience with pediatric respiratory support

• Experience with family-centered care in acute settings

Setting

• Pediatric Acute Care Unit

• Acute care hospital environment

• May float to NICU
