Additional Compensation

  • $25,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $10,000 Relocation Assistance
  • $25,000 Annual Geographic Differential Pay

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Emergency Room for an exciting opportunity in Wrangell, AK.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients of all ages in the Emergency Department
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during assigned shifts
  • Respond to emergent situations and make rapid clinical decisions
  • Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and nursing protocols
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians promptly
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation
  • Participate in patient care planning and interdisciplinary coordination
  • Ensure proper communication and handoff during shift changes
  • Support training and onboarding of department personnel
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
  • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • PALS certification (AHA) required
  • TNCC preferred
  • Acute care, Emergency Department, or long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong documentation and EMR proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in high-stress emergency situations
