Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced, high-acuity acute care environment in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience caring for adult cardiac and complex internal medicine patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Provide age-specific and culturally competent nursing care
- Monitor and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physician assistants, trauma teams, and social workers
- Communicate effectively during patient handoffs and care transitions
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care plans
- Follow professional nursing standards, policies, and safety protocols
- Maintain a safe and efficient patient care environment
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing required
- BLS Certification (AHA) required
- ACLS Certification (AHA) required
- PALS Certification (AHA) required
- Previous Emergency Department experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care setting
