Shift Options: 12-Hour Day Shifts
- 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
- 09:00 AM – 09:00 PM
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Maine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This position is ideal for a skilled RN who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered emergency care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to patients of all ages
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate treatment plans
- Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Utilize strong communication and computer skills in daily workflow
- Adhere to professional nursing standards and patient confidentiality practices
Qualifications
- Active Maine RN License or eligibility for licensure by endorsement required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current BLS Certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment
