The RN Director is responsible for overseeing nursing operations across Medical, Rehabilitation, and Surgical units, ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
This leadership role requires strong clinical expertise, multi-department management experience, and the ability to drive patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.
Must-Have Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years of inpatient nursing supervision experience
• Minimum 2+ years of Director-level experience across multiple departments
• Active Oklahoma RN License (Required prior to start)
• BSN (Required)
• Strong knowledge of hospital operations, staffing, and patient care standards
• CPR Certification (Required or within 30 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (Preferred)
• Experience with Meditech and/or Epic EMR systems
• Strong tenure and stability in previous roles
• Proven leadership in Med Surg, Rehab, and Surgical units
Work Environment
• Acute Care Hospital
• Onsite leadership role in Stillwater, OK
• Multi-unit management (Medical, Rehab, Surgical)
• Patient ratio example: 1:5 (varies by unit)
