This is a Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) RN opportunity in Tallahassee, FL at a 288-bed acute-care hospital offering 24/7 emergency services, a Chest Pain Center with PCI-Resuscitation, a Heart & Vascular Center, a Stroke Center, and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The role. The CSICU RN provides close monitoring and frequent clinical assessments for cardiac surgery patients, making autonomous treatment decisions as situations evolve. You will serve as advocate for patients and families, protecting their privacy and confidentiality throughout the care experience. The role includes educating patients and families on medications and post-procedure treatment plans, and contributing to a collaborative unit culture focused on continuous quality improvement.

What we're looking for.
  • 1+ years of acute care ICU or PCU experience required
  • Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact RN license required; compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire
  • NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days of employment start date
  • BSN preferred
  • CCRN a plus; if pursued, must be obtained within 2 years

Schedule. Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $30.89 - $43.25/hr
