Under limited supervision plans, directs and evaluates total patient care and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients, trains and manages transport personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care, maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units, participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records and upgrading of policies, procedures and skills of personnel. Must be eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Required
• Associates Degree in Nursing - Required
• Bachelors Degree - Preferred

Experience

• 1 year experience performing critical care interfacility transport - Preferred
• 3 years experience in relevant adult, pediatric or neonatal critical care area - Preferred

Licenses

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Required
• Basic Life Support - Required
• PA PreHospital RN Cert - Required
• Paramedic Certification - Required
• PA Registered Nurse License - Required
• Drivers License - Required
• EMS Vehicle Operator - Required
• Cert Flight Registered Nurse - Preferred
• Cert Transport Reg Nurse - Preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program - Preferred
• Advanced Pediatric Life Support - Preferred
• Pediatric Adv. Life Support - Preferred
• Internl Trauma Life Support - Preferred
• PreHospital Trauma LifeSupport - Preferred
• Multi State Compact RN License - Required
