Our organization is in search of a committed and empathetic Weekend RN Manager to become part of our team in Colorado Springs, CO. In this position, you will be responsible for supervising nursing personnel and ensuring that our residents receive top-notch care during weekend shifts. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth operations, adhere to regulatory standards, and promote the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct nursing staff during weekends to guarantee effective and efficient care delivery.
• Coordinate care activities for residents while ensuring adherence to facility policies and state regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and support personnel.
• Conduct training sessions for staff, perform performance evaluations, and offer guidance and support as necessary.
• Address concerns from residents and their families in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure precise documentation of resident care and maintain comprehensive medical records.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing resident care and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Availability for weekend shifts (Friday/Saturday/Sunday).
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
• Demonstrated experience in a nursing management position, ideally within long-term care or similar healthcare environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to work independently during weekend shifts and make critical decisions.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care.
• CPR certification and current Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
