RN Clinical Supervisor | Obesity Medicine & Bariatric Surgery

Location: Onalaska, WI

FTE: Full‑time, salaried position (1.0)

Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday clinic hours (7:30/8:00 AM - 4:00/4:30 PM) with flexibility. Includes occasional early morning and evening leadership meetings.

Lead a multidisciplinary team and help shape the future of a growing specialty program.

Position Overview

As the RN Clinical Supervisor for Obesity Medicine & Bariatric Surgery, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of approximately 15 caregivers, including Registered Dietitians, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants.

This role is central to ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while optimizing clinic operations in a dynamic outpatient setting. This is an ideal opportunity for a collaborative and adaptable nurse leader who is energized by team development, operational problem-solving, and making a meaningful impact on both patient care and team culture. This role requires a leader who is comfortable navigating change, balancing competing priorities, and building alignment across a diverse team.

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, including patient flow, staffing coordination, and efficient use of space and resources

  • Partner with providers and leadership to improve workflows, patient access, and care delivery outcomes

  • Lead decisively in a fast-paced environment, often making informed decisions with evolving or incomplete information

  • Balance leadership responsibilities with limited clinical involvement

  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to ongoing program and operational improvements

What You'll Bring:

  • Active RN license (or eligibility) in the state of Wisconsin

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers CPR

  • Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of RN experience

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven ability to build strong, cohesive teams and navigate interpersonal dynamics

  • Prior leadership or charge nurse/team lead experience strongly preferred

  • Experience leading or collaborating within multidisciplinary care teams

  • Thrives in dynamic environments with evolving priorities and competing demands

  • Confident decision-maker who can lead effectively amidst ambiguity

  • Experience in ambulatory or procedural care settings preferred

  • Passionate about delivering patient-centered care while developing and supporting others
