The department is seeking an independent RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator to support operations across three clinic locations: Center for Advanced Medicine, Center for Advanced Medicine South County, and West County at BJWCH. The nursing team maintains a highly collaborative environment and provides strong support to new team members. The team consists of 9 physician providers, 3 advanced practice nurses, 5 administrative coordinators, and 14 nurse coordinators.
RN Clinical Nurse Coordinators play a key role in supporting the needs of electrophysiology patients. They work closely with clinicians and interdisciplinary team members as patient advocates. Responsibilities include performing device interrogations (both in-person and remote), coordinating EP procedures, triaging patient care needs, advancing treatment plans, assisting with insurance navigation, and providing patient education and safety oversight. In addition, they collaborate with healthcare professionals and community resources to help patients overcome social health barriers. This role fosters the development of strong, meaningful professional relationships with a specialized patient population.
This is a weekday, daytime position with potential hybrid work opportunities, offering a highly desirable schedule with no weekends and no holidays.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients; completes health history and physical examination on patients; conveys findings to physician.
Coordinates patient care, orders diagnostic tests, conveys findings to physician, attends inpatient rounds, coordinates patient appointments and assists with referrals to outside sources.
Assists physician and provides support with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care.
Performs a variety of nursing administrative duties, including compliance with environmental safety regulations, infection control standards and quality assurance.
Acts as liaison and team leader by facilitating communication and coordination of care between patients, families and health team members; explains routines and procedures to patients and coordinates patient care information to appropriate sources.

Salary Range
$60,800.00 - $105,700.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one''s qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
