A leadership opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to guide a hospice clinical team and support high‑quality patient care. This role oversees day‑to‑day clinical operations, mentors staff and ensures care delivery meets regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care delivery: Oversee daily clinical activities and ensure services follow hospice protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and develop clinical staff: Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing feedback to nurses and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Review documentation and compliance: Monitor records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards.
  • Assist with training and onboarding: Help design and deliver orientation and continuing education for clinical personnel.
  • Conduct performance evaluations: Assess staff performance, offer constructive direction, and support professional growth.
  • Lead interdisciplinary discussions: Facilitate team meetings focused on patient and family care planning, problem‑solving, and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Active,  RN license in CA
  • BSN preferred
  • At least 2 years of recent clinical experience in hospice, home health, or community health
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Strong skills in symptom management, crisis response, and family support
  • Ability to lead with empathy and clear communication
  • EMR proficiency
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
