The Staff Pad is partnering with Russellville Hospital, located in Russellville, AL to hire a compassionate and skilled Operating Room Circulator RN to join their Surgical Services team. What You’ll Do
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients of all ages
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and supplies
- Support surgical and anesthesia teams before, during and after procedures
- Perform accurate sponge, sharps, and instrument counts in accordance with AORN standards
- Properly handle and label surgical specimens
- Maintain up-to-date surgeon preference cards and surgical readiness
- Mentor and support new staff and nursing students
- Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Current Alabama RN license (or compact equivalent)
- BLS required
- Hospital-based ACLS and PALS required
- 3+ months of nursing experience preferred
- OR experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
