    Location: San Francisco CA
    Assignment Start: October
    Duration : 13 Weeks (Possibility of Extension)
    Schedule: 12*3 (36 hrs.) 11:00 AM to 07:30 PM 
    Shift: Days
     
    Job Summary:
    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (RN - CVOR) to provide high-quality, compassionate perioperative care. The RN II will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on age-specific needs and in accordance with hospital policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and recognized best practices. This is an onsite position supporting a wide range of surgical specialties in a fast-paced, team-oriented CVOR environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide direct patient care in the CVOR setting and epic experience
    • Monitor and assess patients with life-threatening conditions
    • Administer medications and manage ventilators and other critical equipment
    • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
    • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic (EMR).
    • Promote a safe, therapeutic, and cost-effective care environment.
    • Demonstrate flexibility in staffing assignments and unit needs.
    • Serve as charge nurse or preceptor when assigned.
    • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
    • Adhere to safety policies and professional standards.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Education:
    Bachelors or Associate of Science (AS) in Nursing (required)

    Licensure:
    • Current California RN license (required)
    • BLS (American Heart Association) – Required
    • ACLS – Preferred
    Experience:
    • Must have 1-3 years of recent experience in a CVOR or similar unit/trauma
    • Minimum 6–12 months of recent Epic EMR experience (within the last year)
