Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team. This position is scheduled to work weekend double shifts covering 1st and 2nd shifts, totaling 64 hours per pay period.
The RN will provide exceptional nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met in accordance with individualized care plans. The ideal candidate will assess resident needs, implement nursing interventions, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident outcomes, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.
In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting resident well-being while supporting a positive and team-oriented clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.
Assess, monitor, and document residents' health conditions and progress.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with facility policies.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding care plans and health conditions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Foster a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents.
Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and other support staff to ensure quality care delivery.
Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and emergency situations.
Qualifications
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric and rehabilitation nursing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
Current BLS/CPR certification required.
Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
