Summary
Provides essential project support and in-sourced and outsourced resource management tasks for IT Professional Services Projects. As a member of the Resource Management Office (RMO), this specialist will also be required to independently monitor, update, and close engagements and maintain digital records of project-related activity in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assists the Project Management Office team members by performing project support duties including resource assignment, scheduling, back-office data management, and closeout activities including, but not limited to:
o Assists with sourcing and processing subcontractor quotes and contracts.
o Handles resource schedule management for assignment of engineers and/or contractors to projects; aiding with project preparation, monitoring, and administrative support.
o Creates and processes project engagements in PSA software including contracts, change requests, and other modifications.
o Maintains continuous focus on customer service and quality assurance.
o Assists Sales Account Executives with onboarding new contracts into our service delivery application to enable assignment of resources, project initiation, and billing activity.

• Demonstrates teamwork and flexibility by assisting as needed with various ad hoc reporting, backfill support for peers, assistance with service improvement activities, etc.
• Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications
Equivalent combination accepted.
Education
• Associate's Degree (or higher) in Business Management, Project Management, or Information Technology preferred
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Work Experience
• Minimum 3 years' professional experience preferably with knowledge of resource management practices and/or in an IT Support role (e.g. Service Desk, PC Desktop Support, etc.)
• Will consider applicants with 3+ years of relatable work experience requiring planning, customer service, resource coordination, etc. (example: Events coordinator, customer service dispatcher, or similar work requiring coordination of resources and service delivery)
Certifications
• None required, however any industry recognized certifications in Resource Management (RMI), Project Management (PMI), Information Technology, or Microsoft Office training are beneficial

• Strong written and verbal skills. Must possess ability to deliver concise, professional, and accurate documentation and communications (i.e. meeting notes, project updates, escalations)
