Seeking 3 seasonal River Stewards to promote public safety at a hydropower dam on the Oswego River from July 1st to November 28th.
Responsibilities include effectively communicating safety regulations to the public, especially fishers and river users, and enforcing safety protocols.
Qualifications include being well-organized, enthusiastic about public interaction, capable of working independently outdoors in all weather conditions, with strong attention to detail.
Applicants should be comfortable speaking with the public, have basic angling knowledge (preferred but not required), and live within a reasonable commute to the site.
Additional requirements: ability to work days, weekends, holidays, remain calm under stressful situations, and commit to the full contract duration.
