This is a broad, hands‑on role for someone who wants exposure across multiple areas of risk – third-party/vendor risk, fraud investigation coordination, enterprise risk reporting, and regulatory compliance support – rather than specializing narrowly in just one. This is a great fit for someone mid‑career who is a self-starter, detail-oriented, and excited about the opportunity to grow alongside an expanding team over the next 1–2 years.What You'll Do Third-Party Risk Management Support execution and continuous improvement of the third-party risk management (TPRM) programConduct pre-contract due diligence and ongoing vendor risk assessmentsFacilitate annual vendor reviews and track remediation of identified issuesMaintain vendor risk management systems and the vendor inventory databasePrepare vendor risk dashboards and reportingFraud & Investigations Support Coordinate investigations of suspected fraudulent insurance claimsMaintain accurate investigative documentationSupport compliance with state anti-fraud regulations and reporting deadlinesHelp coordinate fraud awareness trainingEnterprise Risk Management Support enterprise risk assessments, risk identification, and mitigation planningMaintain enterprise risk registers and supporting documentationAssist with control assessments and issue trackingRisk Reporting & Analytics Develop and maintain dashboards, KRIs, and management reportingAnalyze trends and emerging risks for leadership reviewCompliance & Regulatory Support Review SOC1 reports and track Complementary User Entity Controls (CUECs)Support internal and external audit requests as neededContinuous Improvement Participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives; identify automation and process improvement opportunities across risk programs.What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)Experience in enterprise risk management, compliance, fraud/investigations, vendor management, or insurance operations – a mix of these areas is ideal; you don't need to have owned all of themInsurance industry background strongly preferredFamiliarity with third-party risk management, vendor governance, or GRC systems a plusExposure to insurance regulatory environments a plusStrong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills; experience with GRC platforms or data visualization tools (PowerBI a plus)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities independently and build strong stakeholder relationshipsA proactive, go-getter mindset – someone who looks for answers and proposes solutions rather than waiting for directionCompensation & Benefits Annual bonus eligibilityHybrid work model (2 days/week in office)Why This Role This is a rare opportunity to join a small, high-visibility risk team early and help shape how it grows.
