Risk Management Analyst RN - Risk Management
Executes organization-wide risk management program in collaboration with Risk Management Director and SJHS Claims Manager. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the identification, prevention and management of clinical and non-clinical risks and day-to-day administration of the risk management program. Responsible for working with a high degree of autonomy as well as collaboration within the assigned ministries and the broader complex organization to build effective relationships and establish credibility with staff, leaders, physicians, patients and visitors in order to advance the risk management objectives, assure compliance with regulatory mandates and standards, improve patient safety and quality of care and protect organizational assets. Acts as a subject matter expert, resource, internal consultant and educator for risk management issues. The role encompasses the key risk management functional areas of loss prevention and reduction, claims management and litigation support, risk transfer through insurance, regulatory and accreditation compliance and bioethics. Position requires "on-call" availability.

Texas: Lubbock
Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Master''s Degree in Healthcare related field from an accredited university or
J.D.: Healthcare related field from an accredited university.
Upon hire: Certification in Risk Management (CPHRM), Patient Safety (CPPS) or Health Care Quality (CPHQ).
Experience with TeamSTEPPS or High Reliability Organization programs.
Legal or investigative experience.
Risk Management/Patient Safety/Quality Management experience.

The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
