    RISE Enrichment Instructor (Part-Time)
     
    School Overview
    Over Drew Charter School twenty-year history, the school has grown to serve grades PreK-12 with nearly 1,900 students in a “cradle-to-college” pipeline, including two onsite early learning partners. Drew implements a rigorous and supportive educational continuum, which includes tailored Response to Intervention (RTI) support, a rigorous STEAM/Project-Based Learning (PBL) instructional model, and a robust College and Career Readiness program. Every element has been thoughtfully designed to ensure all students succeed and to eliminate opportunity gaps and inequities in educational outcomes for our diverse population of students. More than just a school, Drew is at the heart of a community-wide commitment to launching all students on a pathway to health, impact, and prosperity.

    Program Overview
    RISE Enrichment provides students with engaging, structured learning experiences that promote creativity, skill development, and positive engagement beyond the instructional day. Enrichment Instructors are responsible for creating meaningful activities, building relationships with students, and providing a safe and engaging environment.
    This is an internal opportunity available to current Drew Charter School employees only.
     
    Program Hours: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
    Schedule: Monday–Thursday (based on assigned enrichment schedule)
     
    Performance Responsibilities
    • Plan and facilitate engaging enrichment activities that support student interests and development.
    • Create age-appropriate lessons, projects, and activities for assigned student groups.
    • Arrive on time and be prepared with all materials needed before the start of enrichment.
    • Take daily student attendance and maintain accurate attendance records.
    • Actively engage with students through participation, encouragement, and positive interactions.
    • Maintain a safe, structured, and welcoming learning environment.
    • Build positive relationships with students while promoting teamwork, creativity, and confidence.
    • Communicate any student concerns, behavior issues, or safety concerns to the RISE Instructor.
    • Follow all RISE program procedures and expectations.
    • Collaborate with the RISE team to support a successful enrichment experience.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications 
    • Current Drew Charter School employee (Internal Applicants Only).
    • Experience working with students in a school, youth program, or enrichment setting preferred.
    • Strong communication and organization skills.
    • Ability to create engaging activities and positively manage student groups.
    • Dependable, punctual, and professional.
    • Commitment to providing a positive experience for Drew students.
    Compensation
    • $100/hour
    • Benefits are not included
