Rigger Assistant
You will be assisting journeyman Riggers in rigging up hoisting and pulling gear for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads.
You will be assisting in fabricating, installing, and repairing standing and running rigging, wire and fiber rope items such as slings, towing bridles, nets, and other ship and boat rigging and handling of test weights.
You will be operating an electric, gasoline, or diesel powered fork lift trucks which are capable of lifting loads weighing 10,000 pounds or more.
You will be driving fork lift trucks over rough and sometimes muddy terrain through narrow aisles in outside storage areas.
