Position: Rigging Specialist
Location: Boston, MA
Job Purpose
Execute safe rigging, lifting, and positioning of heavy loads using cranes and rigging equipment in industrial or construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect rigging equipment prior to use (slings, chains, hooks).
Plan and execute lifting operations according to load requirements.
Secure and stabilize loads during lifting and moving processes.
Communicate effectively with crane operators and work teams.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and lifting procedures.
Identify and mitigate potential rigging hazards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Rigging Specialist or Rigger.
Minimum 1 year of experience in rigging and lifting operations.
Knowledge of load calculations and rigging techniques.
Rigging or lifting certification (preferred).
Ability to work at heights and in demanding environments.
