Certification/Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Elementary Education or related field;
• Must have appropriate, valid certification or license to teach the assigned content area as recognized by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, specifically Elementary (PreK-3, K-8, or 1-8); Reading endorsement preferred.
• Thorough knowledge, understanding, and appreciation for the learning process and the nature and growth of children;
• Ability to adapt knowledge of educational methodology and variety of instructional techniques for the benefit of students in the learning environment; competence in the structure and content of the subject area;
• Ability to communicate with students and caregivers in the appropriate manner;
• Must successfully complete a BCI and FBI background check as well as a drug screen.
