Posting Summary

Rutgers Futures Scholars seeks facilitators that would report to the Camden, N.J. area. The Facilitator position is responsible for delivering high-quality educational experiences to Rutgers Future Scholars pre-college students through teaching, leading workshops, creating engaging projects, and efficiently managing assigned duties. This position requires a passion for education, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students, staff, and stakeholders. This position is for multiple vacancies.

FLSA Nonexempt Salary Details

A range of 35 hours - 75 hours. Offer Information

The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including but not limited to the candidates qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. We also take into consideration market benchmarks if and when appropriate and internal equity to ensure fair compensation relative to the universitys broader compensation structure. Position Status Part Time Working Hours up to 19.5 Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement

Minimum Education and Experience

Requires a bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Also requires a minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in an administrative and/or supervisory function, excellent communication skills, and computer literacy.

OR

Requires a bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education/experience in the discipline. A masters degree in a specialized discipline may be required particularly in research project management or managerial positions. Also requires a minimum of five years of experience and/or increasing functional responsibility in a leadership/managerial role. With a masters degree requirement, a minimum of three years of related experience is acceptable. Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.

Certifications/Licenses

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Requires a bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education/experiences in youth development, teaching certificate preferred. Also requires a minimum of five years of experience within a non-profit, governmental agency, or K-12.
