    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled RF / Systems Engineer to join our advanced R&D team.
    In this role, you will contribute to the development of next-generation RF communication and signal intelligence systems, combining classical and quantum photonics to enable new mission-critical capabilities.
    This is a hands-on, innovation-driven position at the forefront of quantum and defense technology.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Design and develop advanced RF systems leveraging photonics and quantum technologies
    • Collaborate with physicists and engineers to create mission-critical tactical systems
    • Evaluate RF components through lab testing (e.g., LNAs, filters, couplers, mixers)
    • Perform board-level and system-level testing and validation
    • Design and simulate:
      • Antennas
      • Microwave circuits
      • Photonic structures
    • Integrate custom components into larger defense systems
    • Conduct system integration and performance validation
    • Maintain technical documentation throughout the design lifecycle
    • Work cross-functionally with hardware, mechanical, and quantum teams
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in:
      • Physics, Engineering Physics, RF Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
    • Strong knowledge of:
      • RF systems, antennas, and microwave/photonic circuits
    • Experience with EM simulation tools such as:
      • HFSS, CST, FEKO, AWG Microwave Office
    • Deep understanding of simulation methods:
      • MoM, FDTD, FEM
    • Hands-on lab experience with:
      • Oscilloscopes, VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, DMMs
    • Experience with:
      • PCB design (signal integrity, impedance matching, EMI/EMC)
      • RF components (amplifiers, couplers, waveguides, mixers)
    • Strong background in:
      • Analog, digital, and power electronics
      • RF communications, modulation, and protocols
    • Programming experience in: C, C++, MATLAB/Octave, or Python
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally)
    • Active DoD Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
