RF Engineer - Chelmsford, MA
Contract: $79.71/hr First Shift (Monday-Thursday) from 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
The RF/microwave engineer will support the manufacturing of complex, multi-function modules used in challenging, high-reliability applications. The engineer will be responsible for analysis and troubleshooting of circuits for advanced electronic modules, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits. The engineer will provide technical support to our manufacturing operation to resolve assembly and test issues. The engineer will learn from and collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers, as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
• RF Engineer • Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. • Bachelors Degree in RF/Microwave Engineering. • 1+ years of related experience in RF/Microwave Engineering. • 1+ years of experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting microwave circuits. • Knowledge of RF/microwave test equipment is required, including network analyzers, spectrumanalyzers, and phase noise analyzers. • Expertise with reviewing and interpreting technical documents, such as specifications, schematic diagrams, and test data, is required.
Desired Skills:
• RF Engineer • Professionally experienced in the aerospace/defense industry is desired. • Professionally experienced in a manufacturing environment is desired. • Demonstrated academic achievement in the field of RF is desired. • Familiarity with RF/microwave circuits simulation or 3D electromagnetics simulation tools is desired. • Familiarity with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues is desired. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are desired. • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
