SALARY: $22-$24/hr. DOE

LOCATION: Tualatin, OR

SCHEDULE: Full-time; Friday-Sunday | 12:00pm-12:00am

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Assemble through-hole and surface mount PCB assemblies, prototypes, and electromechanical systems in accordance with controlled documentation, engineering specifications, and IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards.
  • Perform advanced PCB rework, repair, and hand-soldering tasks, including trace modifications, jumper installations, component replacement, and solder defect correction to ensure product quality and functionality.
  • Operate and support manufacturing equipment and processes, including component placement, aqueous cleaning, wave soldering, and selective soldering, while accurately preparing and installing electronic components.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and production quality, recommend process and documentation improvements, and provide guidance and technical support to junior assembly team members.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • High school diploma or GED required, with a minimum of two years of experience in PCB assembly, rework, and electronic manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in hand soldering and rework techniques, with the ability to consistently meet IPC-A-610 Class 3 workmanship standards.
  • Experience working with SMT and through-hole (THT) assemblies, PCB rework processes, and specialized soldering and repair equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation, with strong electronic component identification skills and familiarity with SN63, SN96, and HMP solder materials.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 
This position works in a manufacturing environment and requires strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to handle small, delicate components with accuracy. The role may require sitting or standing for extended periods while performing detailed assembly, soldering, and inspection work.
