Job Title: Revit Designer (BIM/VDC)
Job Description
This on-site Revit Designer (BIM/VDC) role supports a large-scale semiconductor construction project in Peoria, AZ. You will work from a BIM trailer embedded with the project team, developing, maintaining, and integrating live 3D models in a highly collaborative, fast-paced construction environment. You will coordinate in real time across multiple disciplines within a live, federated model environment, ensuring the models align with field conditions, installation sequencing, and overall constructability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models in Revit across mechanical, electrical, and architectural scopes.
- Work within a live, federated model environment and integrate updates from multiple disciplines in real time.
- Coordinate closely with MEP, architectural, and construction teams to ensure model accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project goals.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve coordination issues with project stakeholders.
- Model mechanical systems including HVAC systems, ductwork, and chilled water systems.
- Model electrical systems including power distribution, conduit routing, and fire alarm systems.
- Support integration of architectural building layouts and design elements into coordinated models.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure BIM models accurately reflect current installation conditions.
- Incorporate RFIs, submittals, and field redlines into the model in a timely and accurate manner.
- Adjust models based on site conditions, field feedback, and installation sequencing requirements.
- Participate in coordination meetings with contractors and trade partners to review models, address clashes, and support decision-making.
- Produce coordinated drawings, shop drawings, and installation details derived from BIM models.
- Maintain model organization, including consistent naming conventions and version control, in accordance with project standards.
- Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with the project's BIM execution plan and meet established quality expectations.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM/VDC, Revit modeling, or a closely related role.
- Strong proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling and construction documentation.
- Strong proficiency in Navisworks, including setting up and performing clash detection.
- Experience working in multi-discipline coordination environments involving MEP and architectural scopes.
- Working knowledge of construction processes and field coordination practices.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working on mission critical facilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and construction teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interpret RFIs, submittals, and field redlines and accurately incorporate them into BIM models.
- Strong attention to detail, model organization, and adherence to project standards.
- Effective communication skills for participating in coordination meetings and interfacing with field and trade partners.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale industrial or semiconductor construction projects.
- Familiarity with live, federated BIM model environments and real-time multidisciplinary coordination.
- Exposure to producing coordinated drawings, shop drawings, and installation details from BIM models.
- Ability to manage version control and maintain consistent naming conventions across large, complex models.
- Interest in contributing to high-profile mission critical projects and advancing BIM/VDC best practices.
Work Environment
This role is fully on-site at a large semiconductor construction project in Peoria, AZ. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in a BIM trailer embedded with the project team. The environment is highly collaborative and fast paced, with close interaction among MEP, architectural, and construction stakeholders. You will work daily with Revit and Navisworks in a live, federated model environment that reflects active field conditions and installation sequencing. The setting is a construction jobsite, so you can expect regular coordination with field personnel and trade partners and a focus on safety, accuracy, and high-quality project delivery.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
