The Reverse Logistics Lead manages day-to-day returns operations across Bulk, RFS (Return for Sale), and inventory returns, ensuring all merchandise is processed accurately and efficiently. This role coordinates workflow, maintains key system updates and tracking, resolves return discrepancies, and drives improvements in reverse logistics processes through trend analysis and operational support.
Responsibilities
• Lead daily reverse logistics and returns operations by coordinating workflow, assigning tasks based on business volume and operational priorities, and ensuring efficient processing across the returns team.
• Maintain and update Triage and In-House Returns logs to ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and real-time visibility of all returned merchandise.
• Manage Jira ticket submissions for item and product updates, ensuring accurate website information, product details, and status alignment across systems.
• Coordinate the creation of Return Authorizations (RAs) to ensure items are properly authorized for receipt and can be accurately processed through the reverse logistics workflow.
• Partner with Member Services to resolve discrepancies on incoming returns that do not align with approved RA details, including quantities, items, or condition.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for reverse logistics and returns, supporting day-to-day issue resolution, guiding team decisions, and ensuring consistent adherence to process standards.
• Analyze returns trends to identify opportunities for process refinement, improved accuracy, and enhanced reverse logistics performance.
• Oversee returns operations across Bulk, Return for Sale (RFS), and inventory return channels, ensuring proper handling, prioritization, and disposition of all returned goods.
• Train new team members on reverse logistics processes and procedures and communicate updates or changes to the team as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support evolving reverse logistics and returns operational needs.
Requirements
• NetSuite experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and applying formulas to add operational value to data sets.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail is needed to ensure accuracy in data analysis, processing, and reporting of reverse logistics functions.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and optimization of reverse logistics
management practices.
• Ability to work autonomously, exercising independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues, and under management supervision.
• Operates with a sense of ownership and urgency.
Preferred Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of experience in project-based work.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and adjacent warehouse facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, and packing equipment. This is a warehouse position at the GOVX Fulfillment Center in La Vergne, TN.
