Hourly Wage: $15.01, plus $3 hour nigh differential for hours worked between 8:00 pm - 6:00 am
The Revenue Attendant is responsible for removal and replacement of cash boxes on all buses, revenue vehicles, ferries, and VB Wave programs.
Essential Job Functions:
(Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit duties that might reasonably be assigned.)
Removes vaults from revenue vehicles and deposits contents into receiver; replaces empty vault into vehicles.
Records the number of all vehicles attended.
Attaches probe for removal of data from each farebox.
Maintains security of the Cashier's Office during hours of responsibility.
Manage records created and received in compliance with the Hampton Roads Transit Records Management Policies and Procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Assigned Reporting Locations: Norfolk, Hampton, and Virginia Beach. Must be available to work all locations.
Required Software Knowledge and Skills essential to Job Functions:
Proficiency in using computer systems and the listed software applications associated with performance of assigned work is essential. Basic problem-solving skills associated with software applications used is expected. Software usage relevant to job duties will be evaluated.

Training and/or Education:
Completion of standard high school curriculum or GED required.
Required Experience:
One-year general work experience
Licenses or Certificates:
Possess a valid Driver's License. Acquire a Virginia Driver's License within 60 days after the date of hire (in instances when an out of state license is not the applicant's current state of residence).
Special Requirements:
Must be bondable and dependable. This position is classified as essential personnel.
