The Retirement Solution Specialist is responsible for supporting clients with retirement products, account services, and financial solution guidance. This role serves as a key resource for assisting customers with retirement plans, account management, benefit inquiries, and retirement-related service requests while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
The Retirement Solution Specialist collaborates with internal operations, compliance, and customer service teams to deliver accurate, timely, and professional support in a fully remote environment.
This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with retirement account inquiries, transactions, and service requests
- Provide support related to retirement plans such as 401(k), IRA, pension, and investment account services
- Educate clients on available retirement solutions, policies, and account options
- Process account updates, distributions, rollovers, and beneficiary changes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, privacy standards, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and account activities
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve complex client issues
- Support onboarding and account setup processes for new clients
- Monitor service requests and ensure timely issue resolution
- Deliver high-quality customer service and relationship support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in retirement services, financial services, banking, or client support
- Strong understanding of retirement products and financial account processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with retirement and financial platforms such as Fidelity NetBenefits, Empower, or Charles Schwab Workplace Financial Services
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Knowledge of ERISA regulations and retirement compliance requirements
- Financial industry licenses such as FINRA Series 6 or Series 63 are a plus
- Experience in banking, wealth management, or investment operations environments
