You are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.About the RoleThe Retirement Services Specialist serves as a key relationship manager supporting a portfolio of employer-sponsored retirement plans. This role is responsible for coordinating plan operations, ensuring compliance with ERISA/IRS regulatory requirements, and delivering high-quality service to clients and their employees.What You'll DoManage 25‑35 client relationships (AUM $1 – $75 million) within our Retirement Services team, serving as the primary day‑to‑day employer contact and maintaining successful working relationships.Coordinate plan operations to ensure compliance with governmental and/or plan document requirements and meet quality standards.Lead client investment committee meetings.Review materials for client meetings and create meeting minutes.Create fee benchmarking and Request for Proposals for clients.Review the plan design annually.Develop and lead group and 1:1 education meetings for clients and SVP RM III's clients.Manage and resolve difficult administration and servicing issues; errors, corrections, etc.Build and maintain knowledge of vendor products, features, processes and procedures, and industry/regulatory changes.Manage fund changes for all Retirement Services clients.Update client assets in investment analytics databases, pull quarterly fund commentary and update industry trends materials.Assist in developing fee and service proposals for all prospects.What You BringBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.5–7 years of retirement services or institutional relationship management experience.Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and retirement plan operations.Experience managing client relationships and leading meetings.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.What We Offer401(k) plan with employer match.Paid parking and transportation benefits.Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including:Health savings accounts (HSA)Flexible spending accounts (FSA)Medical, dental, and vision coverageGenerous paid time off and bank holidays.Access to training and professional development programs.Sponsorship and support for obtaining professional certifications.A culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared success.Equal Opportunity EmployerFirst Western Trust is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
