The Prince George's County Department of Family Services is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a Retired Senior Volunteers Program Coordinator (Community Developer 3Aposition, grade A24 within its Aging & Disabilities Services Division.

About the Position
This is a senior level professional position which performs work in the support of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for individuals aged 55 years and older who have gained a lifetime of experience and put their skills and talent to work in their communities. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the RSVP program materials (written and electronic) to ensure that information is current and easily retrievable; prepares written and oral presentation describing results of analyses of research and planning information relative to the RSVP; works closely with host sites to ensure success of the Program; provides research and reports writing in the developmentof the comprehensive reports; and completes a variety of statistical and program reports necessary to ensure the continuation of local, state, or federal assistance, where provided.Incumbents may perform the more complex community development assignments subjects to extensive public contact.
