Essential Functions and responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Communicate policies pertaining to Human Resources, compensation, and benefits.
- Conduct exit interviews
- Collect and analyze employee data
- Use data to reduce turnover and increase team member workplace morale
- Assist the HR Team in the organization and updating of employee files via Document Manager
- Create and conduct training for employees
- Represent the company at job fairs and college campuses
- Oversee employee orientation and new hire onboarding
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Retention Specialist or similar role
- Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS and related Human Resources Time and Attendance Software Systems
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office systems
- Bilingual would be preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 (+) years’ work experience as a Human Resource Professional
