This role is essential in ensuring policies, procedures, and daily operations are carried out successfully while supporting both the team and the mission of Wabash Valley Goodwill. Leadership & Team Development Lead by example and model professionalism, positivity, and accountabilitySupport, coach, and train team membersCommunicate clear expectations and provide direction throughout the workdayHelp create a drama-free, productive, and respectful workplaceAssist with scheduling, employee guidance, and team accountabilityWelcome and support new team members to encourage retention and growthHandle team member concerns professionally and confidentially Store Operations Help maintain the daily operations of the retail storeStep into leadership responsibilities when the Store Manager is absentKeep the store clean, organized, stocked, and customer-readySupport merchandising, displays, stocking, and pricingAssist with opening/closing procedures and cash handlingMonitor register operations and deposits for accountabilityEnsure safety, security, and policy compliance throughout the storeHelp meet sales and production goals Customer & Donor Service Deliver excellent customer service to shoppers and donorsResolve customer concerns professionally and efficientlySupport the mission by creating a welcoming experience for everyone who enters the store What Were Looking For High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1 year of retail experienceLeadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong communication and problem-solving skillsDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skillsAbility to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team Why Join Wabash Valley Goodwill?
