A day in the life…

The Russell Stover Chocolates store environment is unlike most others. It is a destination for consumers looking to purchase an off the shelf or customized gift for someone special. It is an experience for those wanting to treat themselves and their families to our in-store made fudge, caramel apples, and hot fudge sundaes. As the Retail Store Manager, you must be up for the challenge of managing the duality and seasonality of our store environment.

What you will be doing…

• Manage the day-to-day operations
• Recruit and hire quality associates
• Provide first rate coaching and training
• Achieve all budgeted sales and profit goals
• Control expenses
• Maintain proper inventory levels
• Demonstrate appropriate visual presentation standards
• Exhibit exceptional customer service
• Manage the regular in-house production of a variety of confection items made locally in our candy kitchen
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and controls
• Perform back office duties

Do you have what it takes? (Basic Qualifications)

• 5 years of prior retail management experience
• Customer service and selling experience
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel
• Experience using an email service
• Ability to frequently lift up to 5 pounds with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to constantly stand, bend, reach and work with your hands

Do you stand above the rest? (Preferred Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
• Able to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
• Time management skills

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
