Retail Sales Education Specialist

Location: Dallas, Texas Salary Range: $25 – $25 per year

A leading organization is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Retail Sales Education Specialist to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This is a field-based position perfect for professionals who are passionate about education, sales, and customer engagement. This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with retail partners and customers while building your expertise in sales education strategies. Whether you're an active job seeker looking for your next challenge or a passive candidate interested in exploring new opportunities, this position offers flexibility and meaningful work. The role begins November 30, 2026, and is expected to run for approximately six months, providing an excellent opportunity to expand your professional network and skill set.

Core Responsibilities

As a Retail Sales Education Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive education and training to retail partners and their sales teams. Your primary duties will include conducting in-store presentations, workshops, and one-on-one coaching sessions focused on product knowledge and sales techniques. You will develop and customize educational content tailored to specific retail environments and audience needs, ensuring maximum engagement and knowledge retention. You will collaborate closely with retail managers and sales associates to identify training gaps and create targeted solutions. Your field work will involve traveling to various retail locations throughout the Dallas area to conduct training sessions, assess team performance, and provide ongoing support. You'll gather feedback from participants and use data-driven insights to continuously improve training programs and materials. Additionally, you will monitor sales performance metrics post-training to measure the effectiveness of your educational initiatives. You'll prepare detailed reports documenting training activities, attendance, and results achieved. Building strong relationships with retail partners will be essential, as you'll serve as a key liaison between corporate headquarters and field locations. Your communication skills will be critical in translating complex sales strategies into actionable, easy-to-understand lessons.

Must-Have Requirements

Candidates must have demonstrable experience in retail sales or beauty education backgrounds. Prior experience conducting training, delivering presentations, or working in a field-based capacity is highly preferred. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt your teaching style accordingly. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are essential, as you'll be managing multiple training schedules and locations simultaneously. You must be comfortable with technology and able to use various presentation tools and learning management systems. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required for this field-based position, as you'll be traveling to different retail locations throughout Dallas. The ideal candidate demonstrates enthusiasm for education and measurable passion for helping others succeed in sales environments. You should be self-motivated, able to work independently while managing your own schedule and follow-up activities. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about training solutions are valuable assets. Previous experience in the beauty industry or retail sector is strongly preferred but not absolutely required if you can demonstrate relevant training or educational background.

Benefits and Perks

This temporary position offers competitive hourly compensation at $25.00 per hour, providing steady income during the six-month engagement. The field-based nature of this role offers flexibility and variety—you'll work in different environments rather than being confined to a single office location. You'll have the opportunity to develop your training and presentation skills while building meaningful professional relationships across multiple retail locations. The position provides an excellent platform to expand your professional network within the retail and education sectors. You'll gain valuable experience in curriculum development and adult learning strategies that can enhance your long-term career prospects. The company offers a supportive work environment where your contributions directly impact business results and team success.
