Client Overview:
Our client is a global manufacturer, merchandiser, and marketer for both men's and women's apparel. This New York-based company is known for distributing and designing products across retail channels. They are currently looking to add a Retail Recruiter to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$35/hr - $43/hr

Position Overview:
This is a 4 - 6+ week temporary opportunity for a Retail Recruiter to support a fast-paced organization during a period of growth. The role will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for retail positions and partner closely with store leadership and corporate stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who thrives in a hands-on, strategic environment and enjoys building strong candidate pipelines.

Responsibilities of the Retail Recruiter:
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for retail roles, including store associates, visual associates, and store managers.
  • Proactively source and build talent pipelines using LinkedIn, email outreach, and other creative sourcing methods.
  • Partner closely with store leaders and corporate stakeholders, sharing market insights and hiring trends.
  • Schedule and manage interviews, offers, and candidate communications independently.
  • Maintain a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience, including timely feedback and follow-up.
  • Anticipate future hiring needs related to store openings, maternity leave, and growth initiatives.
  • Operate effectively in a lean, fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities.
  • Utilize an applicant tracking system to manage recruitment activity and reporting.
Required Experience/Skills for the Retail Recruiter:
  • 2 - 3 years of recruiting experience within fashion or retail.
  • Strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Experience sourcing candidates and building pipelines proactively.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Strong candidate relationship management and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Retail Recruiter:
  • Luxury fashion or luxury retail recruiting experience.
  • Knowledge of the competitive luxury landscape.
  • Experience recruiting for multi-location retail environments.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Talent Attract, iCIMS, Greenhouse, or similar).
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
