Retail Operations Manager (Temporary, Full-Time)
Location: Princeton, NJ (On-site)

Overview
We are seeking a temporary Retail Operations Manager to support our client’s retail locations during a critical, high-volume period. This role is focused on ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, executing pop-up retail initiatives, and maintaining continuity.
This is a hands-on, interim position ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced retail environments and can quickly integrate into an established team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations across multiple retail locations.
- Coordinate and execute all logistical aspects of pop-up retail for reunions and related events (product movement, setup, breakdown)
- Support stockroom operations, including receiving, organization, and inventory readiness
- Partner with and support student workers, ensuring smooth onboarding, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination
- Serve as an operational resource for the team, including support on systems such as NetSuite POS
- Ensure operational excellence during a high-volume period with strong attention to timing, detail, and execution
Qualifications & Competencies
- Calm and adaptable: Able to manage multiple priorities while communicating effectively with internal teams, university stakeholders, and external partners
- Execution-oriented: Strong focus on deadlines, accuracy, and delivering high-quality operational outcomes
- Retail leadership experience: Comfortable managing temporary or student staff and navigating dynamic team structures
- Systems proficiency: Familiarity with NetSuite POS or similar retail systems preferred
- Flexible and hands-on: Comfortable working across different retail environments, including campus stores, street retail, and pop-ups
Target Base Hourly Rate: $20-$25/hr.
