Immediate Opening for a Highly Skilled Retail Garden Center Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to customers on plant care and product selection
- Manage daily operations of the retail garden center
- Ensure the care, health, and proper maintenance of all plant inventory
- Oversee the design, execution, and ongoing maintenance of plant displays and merchandising layouts
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of 10 employees or more during peak season
- Train staff on exceptional customer service and in-depth plant knowledge
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for staff and customers
Qualifications (Required)
- Experience working in a nursery, greenhouse, farm, or garden center
- Knowledge of plant identification, plant nutrition, and seasonal growing cycles
- Physical capability to lift 25+ lbs. and perform prolonged standing or other physical tasks
- Passion for excellent customer service and team leadership
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture, Science or related field
- Management experience in a related industry
- Familiarity with local growing conditions
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
