Retail Branch Manager - HVAC and Plubming Supplies

Full-Time | Operations Leadership | On-Site (Sacramento Metro area)

Our client is seeking a Branch Manager to take full ownership of a high-traffic location and lead it with energy, discipline, and accountability. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at developing people, tightening operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience-day in and day out.

You'll be responsible for the overall performance of the branch, including team leadership, operational execution, customer satisfaction, and financial results.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across customer-facing, warehouse, and delivery functions
  • Set clear goals, track KPIs, and hold team members accountable to performance standards
  • Ensure a consistently strong customer experience, including accurate order fulfillment and on-time delivery
  • Oversee all branch operations, including inventory control, warehouse flow, staffing, scheduling, and safety
  • Manage day-to-day execution while driving continuous improvement in efficiency and service
  • Partner with sales and leadership teams to support growth initiatives and customer retention
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational best practices
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in operations, retail, wholesale, or branch management
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and retain teams
  • Strong operational understanding of inventory, workflow, and performance metrics
  • A calm, solutions-oriented mindset in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Industry-specific experience is helpful but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
