Simma’s Bakery is seeking a high energy, experienced Retail Bakery Manager to lead our front of house team and uphold the exceptional standards that have made us a beloved local institution for over 40 years. What You’ll Do
- Lead, train, and inspire a team of retail associates to deliver warm, knowledgeable, and efficient service
- Oversee daily retail operations, including scheduling, merchandising, and inventory management
- Ensure product displays are beautiful, organized, and aligned with Simma’s brand
- Collaborate with production and cake decorating teams to maintain smooth communication and order accuracy
- Manage customer inquiries, custom cake consultations, and problem solving with professionalism
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and compliant retail environment
- Support holiday and peak season operations with strong leadership and calm under pressure
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of retail management experience, ideally in a bakery, café, or foodservice environment
- A leader who is hands-on, organized, and committed to excellence
- Strong communication skills and a customer first mindset
- Ability to multitask and stay composed during high volume periods
- Experience with scheduling, POS systems, and basic administrative tasks
