About The Role:
OZ Trails Bike Park is bringing lift-served gravity riding to Northwest Arkansas. Located in Bella Vista, the park features purpose-built downhill trails, a high-speed lift, and riders traveling from across the country.
We’re looking for a Retail Associate to help create a welcoming, high-energy shop experience for riders visiting the park. This role helps guests get the gear they need, supports the rental program, and keeps the shop running smoothly during busy park days and events.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position and will require weekday and weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities
Help Riders Get the Gear They Need
- Assist guests with purchasing gear, apparel, and bike accessories
- Provide recommendations on helmets, pads, gloves, and riding essentials
- Help riders prepare for the trails with the right equipment
- Process retail transactions using the shop’s POS system
Support the Rental Program
- Assist with rental check-in and check-out
- Help fit riders with bikes, helmets, and protective gear
- Ensure rental waivers and documentation are completed
- Support bike cleaning and staging between rentals
Keep the Shop Looking Great
- Maintain clean and organized retail displays
- Restock products and support merchandising efforts
- Help manage inventory and track product levels
- Ensure the shop stays welcoming and organized during busy days
Support Bike Park Events
- Assist with retail and merchandise sales during races, festivals, and special events
- Help with demo bikes, vendor activations, and event check-in when needed
- Support event setup and breakdown around the shop and base area
- Provide a great experience for visiting riders and event participants
Support the Shop Team
- Work closely with mechanics and rental staff
- Assist riders with basic questions about gear and park operations
- Jump in where needed during peak hours
Qualifications:
- Retail, customer service, or outdoor industry experience
- Interest in mountain biking or outdoor recreation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay organized and positive during busy park days
- Willingness to learn about bike gear and riding equipment
Bonus if you have:
- Mountain biking experience
- Bike shop or outdoor retail experience
- Experience working in rental or recreation environments
- Experience supporting events or community programs
Work Environment:
This role involves standing, reaching, seeing, grasping and speaking for extended periods of time in an open-concept environment with varying noise levels.
