Overview:

The Retail Team Lead supports the daily operations of retail locations within the park by supervising team members, ensuring excellent guest service, and driving sales performance. This role acts as a key point of contact between management and frontline staff, helping create a positive shopping experience for all guests.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate retail team members to deliver outstanding guest service
  • Assist with daily store operations including opening/closing procedures
  • Monitor sales performance and encourage upselling and promotional participation
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained and displays are appealing
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a professional manner
  • Train new team members on policies, procedures, and POS systems
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, restock merchandise, and report discrepancies
  • Enforce company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention procedures
  • Support management with scheduling, task delegation, and performance feedback
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Previous retail or customer service experience required
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25–40 pounds
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Enthusiasm for delivering memorable guest experiences
